Green Beans
Memommy made this in a cast iron pot. A dutch oven would work too – or just a large pot. I’m going to try it in the pressure cooker. Will report back!
- Whole onion in bottom of pot.
- 2-3 bags frozen green beans
- Water to cover beans
- Mix 1/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup brown sugar
- Bring to boil
- Turn low; simmer a couple of hours. Keep an eye on water level.
